Sometimes wisdom teeth come through the gum at an awkward angle. This can lead to pain, infection or problems with the tooth in front. Problematic wisdom teeth can be removed here at the practice under local anesthetic. Your dentist will explain the procedure in full as well as what you can expect during the healing period.
At the practice, we also have the services of a specialist oral surgeon, Mr. Richard Kerr, for those times when either a patient would like sedation, or there are complications which require specialist attention. Mr. Kerr has nearly 30 years of experience removing wisdom teeth and is well respected for his ability with this type of procedure.
We are very pleased to announce that Exeter Advanced Dentistry will remain open during the third lockdown.
We have released our new practice protocols, that are accessible through the link below and we ask you to please review these before attending your appointment.
