Sometimes wisdom teeth come through the gum at an awkward angle. This can lead to pain, infection or problems with the tooth in front. Problematic wisdom teeth can be removed here at the practice under local anaesthetic. Your dentist will explain the procedure in full as well as what you can expect during the healing period.
At the practice we also have the services of a specialist oral surgeon, Mr Richard Kerr, for those times when either a patient would like sedation, or there are complications which require specialist attention. Mr Kerr has nearly 30 years of experience removing wisdom teeth and is well respected for his ability with this type of procedure.
