We aim to make adult teeth last a lifetime, but sometimes a tooth is too broken down or infected to be saved. Removal of the tooth is sometimes the best treatment option. We understand this can be a daunting option and aim to make the process as comfortable as we can for you.
Before removing the tooth, we will discuss the procedure with you and explain the tooth replacement options. The tooth and the area around it will be numbed with local anesthetic to make the removal of the problem tooth as painless as possible.
At the practice, we also have the services of a specialist oral surgeon, Mr Richard Kerr, for those times when either a patient would like sedation, or there are complications which require specialist attention.
We are very pleased to announce that Exeter Advanced Dentistry will remain open during the third lockdown.
We have released our new practice protocols, that are accessible through the link below and we ask you to please review these before attending your appointment.
