We do, of course, understand that every now and then things don’t work out as planned. You may be running late for an appointment or last minute changes to your schedule mean you need to rearrange your appointment. In these cases we’ll always try our best to be flexible and work around you.

If you need to cancel an appointment or you’re held up, we have put in place the following policies to ensure the smooth running of the practice for all of our patients.

Cancellations

Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. If you can give us 48 hours’ notice we’ll have time to adjust our schedules and contact patients who may prefer an earlier appointment. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice there may, unfortunately, be a charge.

Running late?

We plan every appointment to meet the individual needs of the patient, so the length of your appointment will always be arranged with your care in mind. Calling in advance to let us know that you are running late will help us to accommodate both you and our other patients. If you arrive a few minutes late we will always do our best to see you but depending on the work needed, we may not have enough time to give you the level of care you need, in which case we will need to rearrange treatment.
